Who we are
I am a single individual running a website to share my creative work and sell products I have designed. In general, I try to collect the minimum data required, and I definitely do not intentionally track you or sell your data. My website address is: http://katederosier.com.
Comments
Some of the pages on this site are formatted as WordPress blog posts with comments enabled. When visitors leave comments on the site, I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Account data
It is possible to create an account on my Shop page to store your billing and shipping information. On my end, this information is stored until you delete your account.
When you place an order, your information is shared with third-party payment and shipping partners, who may have their own privacy policies that apply. If you have any concerns about this, please contact [email protected] and I can give you more information about which companies I used to handle the payment or shipping or a specific order so that you can read their policies or contact them (I am being vague here so that this paragraph still applies even if I change how my shop is run).
Cookies
If you leave a comment on a post, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Media
On posts with commenting enabled, you may be able to upload images. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Other visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Embedded content from other websites
Some pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, payment widgets, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
Your data is shared with the tools I use for running the website, including an automated spam detection service on pages with comments, and the third-party companies I use to process payments and handle physical product manufacturing & shipping in my store.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), I also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators (i.e. just me) can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you by emailing [email protected]. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
